All about GRASP Graduate Research Association of Students in Pharmacy (GRASP) is a non-profit organization that is designed and implemented entirely by graduate students in pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences in order to facilitate educational development. This is achieved by providing an arena for open interchange of scientific knowledge and ideas through poster and podium presentations. The meeting also gives the opportunity for networking and mentoring amongst students and faculty. In addition to these activities, career development workshops and guest lectures are incorporated to meet the career needs of graduate students. This conference, organized entirely by graduate students, provides an opportunity for pharmacy graduate students from across the country to come share their work, meet potential employers, and learn from the pioneers in the fields of pharmacy and pharmaceutics. This event is also aimed at promoting networking amongst the graduate students and giving them a chance to build valuable ties with their peers. GRASP is funded primarily by sponsor donations and a nominal registration fee paid by student and faculty attendees. Contributors to previous GRASP symposia included major pharmaceutical companies, niche manufacturers, and generic houses. Previous Hosts and Participating Schools This conference is held each year at different major east coast universities and emphasizes progressive academic research in the fields of pharmacy and the pharmaceutical sciences.
