GRASP 2006 Podium/Poster Abstract Guidelines

 

  1. Abstracts must be prepared according to the following GRASP 2006 Abstract Guidelines:
    • Files should be compatible with Microsoft Word.
    • Paper Size: 8.5 x 11 inches
    • Margins: 1 inch
    • Line Spacing: 1.5 lines
    • Type and Font Size: Times New Roman; 12 point
    • Format (see Sample Abstract):
      • Title: UPPER CASE letters.
      • Authors and Institutions: All authors and respective institutions should
      • be included. The presenting author only should be listed first. First
      • authors should be underlined.
      • Format: Purpose, Methods, Results, and Conclusions should be bolded.
      • Paragraphs should not be indented.
      • Tables and graphs may be included and should be embedded within the text
      • Acknowledgements: Financial support should be acknowledged at the end of the abstract.
    • Maximum Length: Should not exceed one page or 350 words excluding title, authors, and addresses.
  1. Abstract should be sent via email to GRASP 2006 at grasp2006@gmail.com by April 15 , 2006. Please indicate your preference for a podium or poster presentation in your email.
  2. Abstracts will be reviewed and responses sent by April 20, 2006.

Guidelines for Poster Preparation

    Posters must be prepared according to the following guideline: 

     

  • Poster Size: The maximum size of the poster must not exceed 3 feet height and 6 feet width
  • Titles: The titles on the poster should be visible up to a 3 feet distance
  • The name of the presenting author must be underlined on the poster
